About Me

I started my career as a therapist in 2016 upon graduating from Utah State University. I began my training in OCD treatment in 2018 and discovered a passion for treating obsessive-compulsive related disorders and anxiety disorders. These disorders can take away an individual’s ability to make their own choices and fully participate in life. You may find yourself avoiding situations, stuck in your head, or engaging in behaviors because you feel like you have to, not because you actually want to. This often creates disruptions in areas such as relationships, school, work, and home.

Through evidence based treatments, I have seen people be able to make their own decisions and get back to what really matters in life. I believe in empowering my clients to have the tools they need to manage their mental health independently. I want to help you to not just survive, but build a life worth living. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally and polyamorous friendly.

About Me

I have worked in the mental health field since 2014. I received my Master of Social Work at Utah Valley University. My experiences in this field have helped me to recognize the many unique challenges that individuals face at each stage of life. Through my work with children and families, I’ve been able to see the connectedness we all share with one another. I enjoy working with young children and their parents, as well as adults. When I work with clients, I seek to provide them a space in which they feel seen, heard, and cared for.

I first began working with OCD and anxiety related disorders in 2018. These disorders often take something that is valuable to the individual and use it to hold them hostage; often little things turn into big threats. Something that used to feel easy can feel terrifying. These disorders are tricky and seek to take away your freedom. They convince you to trade in your life for a perceived sense of safety. The sad thing is that these disorders are never satisfied, they will keep asking for more and more of you. Likely if you are reading this, you have experienced or witnessed this in a loved one firsthand. My goal is to help you gain freedom from these disorders. I want to stop OCD and related disorders from making your decisions. Instead, my hope is for you to have the skills needed to take control of your life and engage in the activities that you value. Changing patterns and facing fears is never easy, but my hope is that regaining your freedom and life will make it worth it.

About Me

My journey to becoming a therapist began in Israel, where I earned my psychology degree at Tel-Aviv University (2016-2019). During this time, I volunteered at an inpatient mental health facility and an ADHD clinic, gaining experience working with diverse individuals and families.

After moving to Utah in 2021, I honed my skills at the OCD and Anxiety Treatment Center, providing Exposure/Response Prevention (ERP) therapy and teaching CBT and DBT skills to clients from ages 6 to 80. It was here that my passion for helping individuals struggling with OCD and anxiety disorders truly blossomed. Witnessing firsthand the toll these conditions can take, and the incredible transformations possible through successful interventions, fueled my dedication to this field.

Since then, I've continued expanding my expertise. My internship at Flourish Therapy, a non-profit serving the LGBTQ+ and polyamorous communities, allowed me to offer gender-affirming care and therapy specifically informed for queer experiences, while still incorporating ERP for anxiety and OCD.

Most recently, I've been training in Inference-based CBT (I-CBT) for OCD and crisis intervention for the 988 line. I believe in a collaborative approach, tailoring a blend of techniques (ERP, I-CBT, CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, etc.) to each client's unique needs.
